According to a recent report from Sky Italy, former Portsmouth star Kevin-Prince Boateng is on the verge of signing for Fiorentina in a two year deal. He made the move to Barcelona in January, before proceeding to return to parental club Sassuolo. Now, the belief is that he is set for a £900,000 move to Fiorentina, who could use all the help they can get at this moment in time. They’re coming off the back of an incredibly disappointing season which saw them almost slip out of Italy’s top division, and now, they’ll be hoping to make a real statement of intent.
Kevin-Prince, on the other hand, is looking to prove that he can still be of some value to top level European clubs. He has spent the last few years being pretty hot and cold, and given the point in his career that he is currently at, it’ll be interesting to see which direction he goes in.
