Arsenal are the latest club to show interest in landing Inter Milan target and current Verona defender, Marash Kumbulla.
According to Italian outlet, FC Inter News, Arsenal are one of two Premier League clubs – the other believed to be Tottenham – to enquire over the youngster.
Kumbulla has been hugely impressive in Serie A this season with Verona. Inter have been linked numerous times with making their move, although Arsenal’s interest is fresh.
The Gunners are keen on improving their squad this summer. However, the club could have a limited budget to work with thanks to current global scenarios and financial issues.
But Kumbulla could be within their price bracket if they do want to make a move. A previous report has claimed that the Albanian might be available for around £20m.
However, fresh reports claim a figure closer to £27m is now being touted by the Italian club.
Arsenal will be desperate to give Mikel Arteta the backing he needs in the summer. The Spaniard has made a decent start to life in north London but knows he must improve the squad further to keep improving.

Arsenal have been crying out for years for someone at the back who is really going to dominate. Kumbulla might well be that man in the long-term, but is he ready now?
That’s the big question and the probable answer is no. Of course, the Albanian could very well be ready and make the transition to PL football with ease.
However, he’s only 20. That hasn’t stopped him drawing praise, however. Former Inter defender Federico Balzaretti has praised Kumbulla’s defensive prowess in the past.
“Kumbulla is a ‘defending’ defender. The first thing he thinks of is defending his goal and not taking goals,” he told Goal.
He could, then, be just what the Gunners need.
