Marc-André Ter Stegen has written an article for ESPN about the current situation. He expressed his feelings and added that they are dependent on the government.
“We finally began individual training back at the training ground on Friday. It’s great to be back at work.”, said the 28-year-old.
“Everyone expects to finish the season but, of course, we depend on the government’s instructions. We will do everything possible to respect and follow them. I am looking forward to playing games again. When they call, I’ll be there.”, he added.
The Barcelona goalkeeper is eager to return to the pitch, and more than ready to give his everything in every game again.
“It will take some time to return to match fitness. You can’t compare the individual work we’ve been doing at home with the specific work on the pitch, but give me the ball and I will try to make the best of the situation!”
