Ahead of next season, AC Milan are looking for a new striker as Zlatan Ibrahimovic is expected to leave, while a youngster is needed for the project. The No.1 target has been identified, but there is a problem.
According to today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews.it), which takes stock of Milan’s transfer strategies for the summer, Luka Jovis is still their No.1 choice. The Real Madrid striker hasn’t had a good season and a discount is thus possible.
However, due to the Serbian’s injury (a fracture in the heel of his right foot), the negotiations have slowed down. Ralf Rangnick, who is in pole position to lead the revolution at Milan, is now evaluating other alternatives for the attack.
Per the newspaper, the Rossoneri have also set their sights on AZ Alkmaar striker Myron Boadu. The 19-year-old scored 14 goals in 23 league appearances this season, in addition to 6 goals in 13 games in the Europa League
